Installation Options
The TM-CMSI-7.1 is designed to work with several Transducer Shield & Saver mounting systems depending on your installation.
- Jack Plate Installation – Use with a compatible TSS L Bracket.
- Hole Shot Plate Installation – Use with a compatible TSS Wedge.
- Setback Installation – Use with a compatible TSS Wedge where the setback provides a suitable mounting surface.
- Trolling Motor Installation – Requires two stainless steel mounting clamps or straps (not included).
Important Information
When mounted to a jack plate, hole shot plate or transom setback, the transducer may lose bottom tracking once the boat is on plane because the transducer is no longer fully submerged. For reliable depth readings at speed, Humminbird recommends using an in-hull transducer where appropriate.
