Returns Policy

All goods and items supplied in the sales order shall be governed by the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (the Act). Goods supplied by Boaters World are subject only to the applicable manufacturer’s written warranty (if any) and, except to the extent prohibited by law, all other warranties concerning Goods are hereby excluded. 

To ensure a smooth and transparent returns process, please read the following conditions carefully. By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms.

1. Customer Responsibility
It is the sole responsibility of the customer to ensure that the correct part is ordered. We, as the seller, cannot verify or guarantee the suitability or compatibility of parts for your specific application.

2. Liability for Incorrect Orders and Damages

  • No credit will be issued for parts that are ordered incorrectly by the customer after 30 days from purchase.
  • Customers are liable for any damage caused during return transit. All parts must be securely packaged to prevent damage.
  • If goods are returned damaged or in unsellable condition, no credit or refund will be provided

3. Return Authorisation Required

  • A Return Authorisation Number (RAN) must be obtained before returning any goods.
  • Returns without a RAN will not be accepted or processed.

4. Return Conditions

  • All returned goods must be accompanied by the original invoice.
  • A clear photo of each item to be returned, including packaging, must be submitted before return shipping to verify condition.
  • Goods must be returned within 30 days of purchase, in original, unmarked packaging and in resaleable condition to be eligible for credit or refund.

5. Non-Returnable Items
Returns will not be accepted for the following:

  • Items that have been fitted, used, or installed.
  • Cut-to-length hose or any customised items.
  • Special order or non-stock items procured at the customer’s request.
  • Goods not accompanied by the original invoice.

 6. Freight Charges
All freight and shipping costs for returned items are the responsibility of the customer.

 7. Return Window
No returns will be accepted or credited beyond 30 days from the date of purchase, except in cases of warranty claims.

Warehouse Locations

Boaters World currently ships orders from centrally located warehouses in NSW and QLD.

Local Pick-up

Local pick-up offered to Boaters World customers from our fulfillment centre located on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

Processing Times

Boaters World will endeavour to process all orders the same day that are placed before 1 pm AEST on business days. However, during busy periods, a processing time of between 1-4 business days may occur.

Delivery Times

The transit times below apply to all our couriers, including Australia Post, Startrack, DHL, TNT, and other similar carriers. The transit times below exclude weekends and public holidays. Please note that transit times may vary for delivery to rural locations and during the holiday seasons.

Australia

  • For Standard delivery within Australia, it is 4 to 8 business days after processing of your order.
  • For Express delivery within Australia, it is 1 to 3 business days after processing your order.

Fiji

  • For Standard delivery to Fiji, it is 10 to 18 business days after processing of your order.
  • For Express delivery to Fiji, it is 6 to 10 business days after processing your order

New Caledonia

  • For Standard delivery to New Caledonia, it is 8 to 12 business days after processing of your order.
  • For Express delivery to New Caledonia it is 6 to 10 business days after processing your order.

New Zealand

  • For Standard delivery to New Zealand, it is 7 to 12 business days after processing of your order.
  • For Express delivery to New Zealand, it is 6 to 10 business days after processing your order.

Papua New Guinea

  • For Standard delivery to Papua New Guinea, it is 8 to 12 business days after processing of your order.
  • Express delivery is not available

Solomon Islands

  • For Standard delivery to the Solomon Islands, it is 10 to 18 business days after processing of your order.
  • Express delivery is not available

Vanuatu

  • For Standard delivery to Vanuatu, it is 12 to 25 business days after processing of your order.
  • For Express delivery to Vanuatu, it is 8 to 18 business days after processing your order.

Free Freight

Free freight Australia-wide on orders of $199 or more that are less than 5kg and fit in an Australia Post XL bag.

For orders $199 or more that weigh over 5kg free freight only applies to eligible metropolitan postcodes, excluding Tasmania and the Northern Territory. (see eligible post codes below)

  • NT: Additional freight charges may apply
  • TAS: Additional freight charges may apply

Additional freight charges may apply to orders with a weight or cubic weight of more than 22kg.

International orders do not qualify for free freight.

Free Freight on Anchors

Certain postcodes outside metropolitan areas may incur additional freight charges depending on location.

Large, Bulky, or Heavy Items

Deliveries of large, bulky, or heavy orders may be subject to additional freight charges. We will contact you before dispatching your order if necessary for the payment of any additional fee, or a full refund if you choose not to proceed.

Remote Locations

Deliveries to non-metropolitan locations within Australia may be subject to additional freight charges. We will contact you before dispatching your order to the payment of any additional fees if applicable. You may elect to cancel your order and receive a full refund if you choose not to proceed.

International Shipping, Customs & Duty Charges

International orders may be subject to local charges. Any customs or import duties and associated fees are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Boaters World cannot be held responsible for any additional charges on your order, nor can we accept a return of the order in this case.

Authority to Leave Terms and Conditions

Boaters World offers Authority to Leave freight service; by agreeing to Authority to Leave when placing an order, you are asking Boaters World's agent/delivery partner to leave your parcel at your unattended premises by your instructions.

By providing Authority to Leave, you agree that the parcel is deemed to have been received when left at your premises.

Boaters World, and its agents/delivery partners associated with the delivery of your parcel, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage that may result from you providing Authority to Leave for your delivery. You agree to release Boaters World from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered, or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of your election to choose Authority to Leave for your delivery.
