The Sierra 18-5919 Starter Motor is designed to crank the engine during starting in Mercruiser applications. It replaces Mercruiser 8M0090697.
Application: Late Model GM 3.0 models with 12-3/4" Flywheel
NOTE:Â OE version of this starter uses a 9-tooth drive while our aftermarket version has an 11-tooth drive
NOTE:Â The two units will work interchangeably with no modifications required
Not staggered/offset style starter motor as fitted to modern 3.0, 4.3, 5.0, 5.7 and 6.2 models
