316 stainless steel baskets are designed for use in seawater cooling applications and comply with engine manufacturer specifications for screen size and flow rates.
Basket size is measured by the inlet/outlet size of the strainer. Not the OD of the Basket itself.
Materials:
- Baskets are available in ABS plastic or 316 stainless steel
- Baskets occupy the full height of the strainer body, maximising the filtration surface area
Options:
- Available in ABS plastic, which is durable and impact resistant, or 316 stainless steel with a 2mm perforated hole
- 316 baskets can be offered with custom screen
- All models can be specified with ABS or 316 with the exception of SISO 1" - ABS only
- 316 Stainless Steel Basket SISO 4" - 316 only
